A: A colleague of mine had to leave the company. He’d been having trouble with a client, but when I got to the guy, I told him on our product in three days.

A: People skills, perseverance, and just a dash of charm.

A: I’d like to manage my own sales team.

Q: How do you close a deal.
A: I wait until the client is ready. When he or she is, I stop selling her on the product and do my best to get the papers signed.
Closing is very important in sales. The interviewer wants to know how you do it.
Q: What makes you an exceptional salesman?
A: I’m energetic enough to keep calling, but patient enough not to rush the deal.
The salesman wants you to explain both how you see yourself, and why they should hire you.
